The latest statistics of the Civil Registration Organization of the country show that in the first seven months of 2024, out of 274,596 registered marriages, 108,673 cases resulted in divorce. In this way, about 39 percent of marriages have ended in divorce, and this ratio reaches 52 percent in Tehran.

It is not clear what the intention of those who published the statistics of infidelity in Tehran is, and we cannot look at the statistics published by one of the branches of the courts in Tehran with certainty or say that they are definitely reliable.
It remains to be seen what the goals of the trustees who have published these statistics are. However, such issues require a comprehensive and impartial investigation, which unfortunately does not provide statistics and figures to scientific and academic authorities so that these scientific institutions can independently examine these statistics and examine and comment on the variables interfering in these statistics.
