Is "Evacuation of Tehran" possible?

  Tehran's water situation has become "red" and "worrying" in the sixth year of continuous drought, so that according to the director general of Tehran's water supply, the reserves of Tehran's five dams have reached the lowest level in the last 60 years, and the fullness of Tehran's dams, excluding Taleghan dam, has reached 5%.  This situation has caused the president to give warnings about the possibility of water rationing until December and even "the evacuation of the capital in the future".

Ali Baitullahi, a crisis expert and director of the risk tolerance department of the Road, Housing and Urban Development Research Center, said: The president's statements about the evacuation of Tehran seem to be only a serious warning and not a practical measure.  Because it is not possible to evacuate the population of 10 to 15 million people, even partially.  First, this population cannot be transferred, and secondly, there is no destination for transfer;  Because other regions of the country are also facing a water shortage crisis and do not have suitable conditions in terms of water resources.
