Out of 2,000 miners in Tabas, 700 people have resigned. The promise to increase the salary of 3 million tomans for the workers in Hanur has not been implemented.

Fear strikes in the eyes of the workers standing farther away from the mine. They both want to talk and are afraid that the same narrow water of 13 million tomans will have their salaries cut and their six-month contract will not be extended.

Those who have left say, "We are living martyrs." Those who have left say, "We have not been able to work." Those who remain say, "The mine eats us every day." Those who have gone say, "The reminder of the first October spills the meat of the tenman."

They say management has cut salaries and insurance for anyone who took a week off. The workers of Block C were closed until November 1, but the workers of the block were forced to start work again on October 2 with shovels, pickaxes and flashlights. Not everyone was punished.
