Recent rains have caused the collapse of parts of the historical mansion of Baghsalari in Shiraz

The recent rains have caused the collapse of parts of the historic Baghsalari edifice in Shiraz, a valuable building from the Qajar era that is now at risk of further destruction and needs immediate restoration.

This garden, which was built by Habibollah Khan Ghavam, the grandson of the founder of Kalantari Garden, is considered one of the cultural symbols of Shiraz.

Masoud Maniati, the director of the Association of Lovers of Cultural Heritage of Fars, expressed concern about the condition of this building, saying:

The garden, with its magnificent hall, stuccoed porches, and delicate decorations, has a unique effect and has played an important role in the education and culture of the region in the past.

This mansion, which is registered in the list of national monuments of Iran, is in a worrying situation due to the damage caused by the weather conditions.

Cultural heritage activists have warned that any delay in the restoration of the building could lead to the destruction of valuable parts of the building.
