Majd Amini, Mahsa (Jina) Amini's father, says that he was summoned to the Prosecutor's Office after protesting the death sentence of Pakhshan Azizi and faced two charges.

 Mahsa Amini's father announced in an Instagram post that after being summoned to the Prosecutor's Office on January 19, he faced the charge of "spreading lies" and that only 48 hours later, he was charged with "propaganda against the state."

Amjad Amini explained about his summons: "I said to myself that no matter what the wind blows, even if I don't go, I will be safe from being hit by a baton, and since I have not had any underlying illness in my 52-year-old life, there is no excuse for my death, even though with the loss of my innocent daughter, my life and that of my wife is a gradual death. As a third-degree citizen of this troubled province, I attended the interrogation on January 19, and this was not an excuse for me not to go to the prosecutor's office."

On January 12, 2025, in protest against the death sentence of Pakhshan Azizi, Amini wrote on her Instagram story: "The horrific news of the confirmation of the death sentence of the innocent daughter of Pakhshan Azizi is so unjust and cruel that it hurts the soul and soul of every human being who has a living conscience and astounds people with all this cruelty and cruelty."
