In one of the billboards of the Beautification Organization of Tehran Municipality, an image of Dr. Morteza Labafi-Najjad, a senior figure of the People's Mojahedin Organization in the early 1970s, has been displayed on the occasion of Doctor's Day.
In this billboard, the time of Labafi-Nejad's execution is listed as January 1988, and the cause of death is stated as "execution by firing squad by SAVAK." However, Labafi-Nejad was executed by firing squad in Evin Prison in February 1976, following a court ruling.
