Narges Mohammadi also talked about her phone call with her children and said:
"I was shocked to see their changes and felt like they had really grown up and lost a lot of time with them."

She pointed to the challenges of motherhood alongside her human rights activism, adding, "I don't know if my children will forgive me, but they said they are proud of me and support me."

The human rights activist referred to her painful experiences in prison and said:
"I was severely beaten by prison officials and denied medical treatment. "While I had heart problems and was supposed to go for an angiography, they hit me in the chest."

He also spoke about the situation of his cellmates and said that they have turned the prison into a resilient environment with a strong spirit.
