Medical Director of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences:

Currently, 16 patients with serious physical condition are admitted in the ICU department of Mazandaran hospitals due to poisoning from counterfeit alcohol.

In the last 10 days, 284 people went to the health centers of the province due to alcohol poisoning.

According to the Mazandaran Medical Examiner's report, 21 people have died since last week, of which 18 are men and the rest are women.
