Environmental activists say the relevant agencies do not provide them with information on the status of wetlands
They have been warning about the state of wetlands for years, saying that the relevant agencies do not provide accurate information about the condition of the wetlands, which is apparently confidential. But the question is, why should information about wetlands be confidential? Without this information, how can we have an ecological value and how can we slow down the process of destruction?
Among the three wetlands that were reviewed at the meeting, the "Komjan" wetland in Fars province was revived in the late 1980s, with the help of the local community, and was gradually able to restore its biodiversity, a process that took nearly four to five years, and the effects of the drainage of the 1980s were eliminated by the construction of dams.
