Haji Karim, head of the Iranian Water Industry Federation: There is no water in Taleghan that can be transferred to the capital

Water rationing in Tehran should have started much earlier
Reza Haji Karim, head of the Iranian Water Industry Federation:
It seems that water rationing in Tehran is not far at all and this work should have started much earlier. In various meetings with the country's water managers, we demanded the early start of water rationing in Tehran, although this measure also has its own issues. The meaning of rationing is that water, like electricity, is cut off at certain times of the day in a region by region.
Unfortunately, some officials think that the water transfer plan from Taleghan can save Tehran, but Taleghan itself is fed by precipitation. Naturally, when there is no rain in Taleghan, there is no water to fill the dam. Taleghan Dam is now completely dry./Iran Watch
