آژیر معدن طبس کار نکرد، فاجعه انسانی به بار آمد / اگر آژیر کار می‌ کرد، این همه کشته روی دست کشور نمی‌ ماند

Zahra Saeidi Mobarakeh, spokesperson for the Industries Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated in an interview with Rokna

Zahra Saeidi Mobarakeh, spokesperson for the Industries Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated in an interview with Rokna that the mine's siren system either did not exist or was malfunctioning.

She emphasized that negligence in this matter has resulted in workers paying the ultimate price with their lives.

"Some individuals were aware of the incident but were notifying each other through shouting. If the siren had been operational, the country would not have been left with so many casualties," she remarked.

Saeidi Mobarakeh pointed out that a self-rescue system was available in the workers' backpacks, but questioned why it was not used. "Did they not think the situation was critical enough, or had they not received any training on this matter?"

She added that while our mines are not particularly large compared to those in other countries with this industry, we have a high casualty rate, indicating that we do not value human resources and the preservation of human factors.

"If the calibration device is unavailable in the country due to sanctions, work should be halted rather than risking the lives of workers. We are concerned about the repetition of this trend."
