Ahmad Zeidabadi, in an article titled "The Meaning of Return and the Message of Condemnation!" wrote on his Telegram channel:
Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court has reportedly sentenced Reza Valizadeh, a former reporter for Radio Farda, to 10 years in prison after his return to the country.
Does ending his cooperation with Radio Farda and returning to Iran mean anything other than that Mr. Valizadeh has changed his political outlook for whatever reason? And his 10-year prison sentence sends a message other than that Iranian journalists working for foreign networks will not be tempted to change their minds and return to Iran, because they will be sentenced to heavy imprisonment as soon as they return to the country? In other words, the message of this conviction is that Iranian journalists in networks, media, and institutions abroad should stick to their jobs with both hands and continue to work against the Iranian government according to the tendency of their managers.
