[T×W×D×Y×A] and introduction!

As the noble tradition of farewell and introduction ceremonies for ministers and other new government officials is currently taking place, I would like to share a memory from my first term in office at the former Ministry of Culture and Higher Education [72-1368] in this regard:

My first term in the former Ministry of Culture and Higher Education during the Reconstruction Government [from 1368 to Shahrivar 1372], despite being regarded by Mr. Hashemi as the most successful performance in that government, unexpectedly came to an end due to the provocation of the Islamic Azad University and pressure from conservative representatives of the Fourth Parliament on the President!

According to the usual practice, it was decided to hold a farewell and introduction ceremony. I appointed Dr. Aref [the Deputy and later Educational Advisor to the Minister] to follow up, plan, and coordinate with the other side.

It was also suggested that the late Dr. Ahmad Ahmadi [the head of the Samt Organization, a philosopher, and a well-respected member of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution] be the speaker for the program, but he was not accepted by the other side due to specific political concerns and anxieties! However, he himself held a one-sided introduction program for the new minister, reciting the verses "Indeed, We have granted you a clear victory," which had a surprisingly negative impact among academics!

“..Whoever came built a new edifice
Then left for another dwelling

And the other one was similarly inclined
This edifice was not endured by anyone

Do not rely on the unstable friend
Such treachery does not deserve friendship..!”
