Hosseinullah Karam, the spokesman of the "Association of Claimants", announced the cancellation of today's gathering of those demanding hijab and chastity.
Earlier, on Saturday, March 29, Hossein Khoshghbal, the deputy governor and governor of Tehran, thanked the security and law enforcement forces for enforcing the law and ensuring public security, stating: "According to the laws, holding any gathering or sit-in in the open air requires obtaining an official permit, and gatherings without a permit will be dealt with according to the regulations."
It is expected that all political groups loyal to the regime, while respecting the security and police forces who are working day and night to ensure the security of the country, will refrain from any illegal and divisive behavior or stance that may pave the way for the exploitation of dissident groups, and will pursue their demands within the framework of the laws.
