Taghi Rahmani, a political activist living in Paris, has announced the hospitalization of his wife, Narges Mohammadi, a Nobel Peace Prize winner imprisoned in Iran.

He wrote on his account on the X network: "Narges Mohammadi, after nearly 9 weeks of refusing to provide medical services, finally, thanks to the support of civil and human rights activists, release the Narges coalition and the pressure of the international community and the media in the hospital." 

Recently, a group of prisoners in the women's section of Evin prison also expressed concern about Ms. Mohammadi's health. 

In a letter, a copy of which also reached BBC Farsi, they wrote that Narges Mohammadi "suffers from serious and numerous diseases" and that the prison is negligent in sending him to the hospital. 

Despite Narges Mohammadi's urgent need to be admitted to the hospital since September, the prison authorities refused to send him to the hospital.
