Sheikh Araki

Sheikh Araki attempted to purchase a university while he was Ayatollah Khamenei's representative in England.

When Sheikh Araki was Ayatollah Khamenei's representative in England, he attempted to buy a university and supposedly accepted 100 students but was left with the expenses. Therefore, he came up with an idea to get financial assistance from Ayatollah Khamenei's office, but the Ayatollah did not help.

On August 20, 2008, he went to Shah Kilid, that is, "Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani."

So, with Hashemi Rafsanjani's influence in the Islamic Azad University, as the founder and chairman of the founding board and trustees, he put pressure on Abdullah Jasbi to buy that university.

Accordingly, Sheikh Araki proceeded with the work by complaining to the office of the Leader of the Islamic Republic.

These meetings and Akbar Hashemi's follow-up continued despite Abdullah Jasbi's opposition and resistance, examples of which can be found in Hashemi's diaries of August 4, 2002, and October 7, 2002.

Until finally, under pressure from Hashemi and hints, that university was purchased from the former Sheikh Parviz and today's Sheikh Mohsen and became the Islamic Azad University of England!
