Reza Valizadeh, a dual Iranian-American journalist and journalist, in his Nowruz message from Evin Prison, which was posted on his brother's Instagram page

Reza Valizadeh, a journalist and journalist with dual Iranian-American citizenship, in his Nowruz message from Evin Prison, which was published on his brother's Instagram page, while congratulating the New Year, wrote with the aim of warning his colleagues:

"For two years, the liaison of the Revolutionary Guards Intelligence Organization tried to assure me that if I wanted to return to Iran and celebrate Wednesday and Nowruz with my family, we would never be disrupted by a judicial and security confrontation.

After 15 years of living outside of Iran, I arrived at my father's house on Wednesday, Syria, 2023, not not knowing that this promise was a lie and that the spy of the Revolutionary Guards Intelligence Organization, who happened to be a journalist, a fellow citizen, and a friend of mine from high school, had set a trap for me.

Not that I believe that there has been a change in the nature of the Islamic Republic, but I returned to Iran to visit my elderly parents, who were unable to travel to another country due to illness, and also to discover the truth about the false project of the country's security-intelligence agencies regarding the case of the 2009 protests. Of course, beyond that, because of a magnitude that now is not the time to talk about it.

I congratulate Nowruz and warn my journalist colleagues in the media outside Iran to be careful about hybrid hunting projects. It is not unlikely that you will be motivated to return to Iran for reasons such as homesickness or other reasons, and ironically, the country's intelligence agencies will use your closest friends to persuade you to return, especially now that it is considered the hunting season for intelligence agencies due to the interruption in the activities of Radio Farda and VOA. By combining several methods at the same time and employing a few of your friends in different fields, they try to convince you that returning to Iran is the best decision and that there is no danger to you.

Regardless of this explanation, let me admit that I have lived in different countries for 15 years and I have never felt as homesick in any country as I did in Iran. Do not let homesickness and distance from your homeland in exile bring you to your knees.

 Victorious Nowruz."

Valizadeh had previously written in a post on X: "I arrived in Tehran on March 7, 2024. Before that, I had half-finished negotiations with the Revolutionary Guards' Intelligence Organization. In the end, I returned to my country after 14 years on my own responsibility and without even a verbal letter of trust. If they cut off my internet for now, have this name from me: Ashkan Azizi and the game called Vaja
If my access is not cut off, I will explain it in detail soon. Swallows and deceitful Aristotles!"
