"Sheikh Yasoub al-Din Rastegar Jouybari," the author of legal opinions and the commentary "Al-Basair," has been repeatedly arrested by the Special Prosecutor's Office for the Clergy. He made strong remarks against the Leader of the Islamic Republic and expressed even harsher views towards non-Shiites.
He was released from prison long after his arrest and the associated uproar, and he has since resumed his religious activities in Qom, albeit not with the same intensity as before.
