The Tehran Police Information Center announced:

Last night, following the decision of the National Security Council (SHC), the capital police were required to end the "illegal sit-in" of a number of citizens in front of the parliament, and in this regard, after numerous negotiations with the relevant authorities and the demonstrators, they were asked to end the gathering and prevent disturbances and obstruction of passage and traffic for citizens.

A significant number of the demonstrators obeyed the police's orders and left the area, but about 30 people resisted the police's orders and sometimes continued the sit-in with obscenities, aggression, and insults. In accordance with their legal duty, the police ended the sit-in after hours of tolerance and negotiation with the end of the specified deadline, and at the request of a number of them, including women, most of whom had come from Qom, they transferred them to the Imam's shrine.

In addition, pictures of a woman who claims to have been beaten by the agents at that gathering have been published, which are completely fabricated, and she tried to disturb the public mind by self-harm and creating an inappropriate psychological atmosphere.
