مطهرنیا، تحلیلگر سیاسی: ایران به دنبال پرهیز از هر نوع تنش است

The likelihood of Iran taking action against tensions in Syria is much more limited than in the past.

Mehdi Motaharnia, political analyst:

The likelihood of Iran taking action against tensions in Syria is much more limited than in the past. Iran, given the current situation, is moving conservatively from the path of diplomacy and making its regional decisions step by step.

Both in the Gaza incident and in the Lebanese conflicts, Iran has made all its efforts to deter them without direct tension, and has not even implemented the "Sincere Promise 3" operation yet; Iran is therefore aware of the dangers of direct confrontation that could lead to wider conflicts. Iran has now opted for an "inward-looking" and "outward-looking" posture to prevent any possible escalation of tensions.
