اولین بیانیه‌ مهدی کروبی پس از رفع حصر

As you know, since the end of February 2011, I have been under a siege for which the sentence of deprivation and punishment is not based on the law and decision.

I, as in the past, commit myself to not speaking out in defense of the rights of all people, regardless of their view or belief, and to defend their legitimate and legal rights and legitimate freedoms

I demand the unconditional release of political prisoners, especially women in prison, from any profession, which I will pursue today.

Your Highness.
Noble people of Iran

As you know, since the end of May 2018, I have been in a state of confinement where the sentence of deprivation and its punishment was imposed not on the basis of the law and the decision of the righteous courts, but only on the basis of the will of the powerful. My public trial request was not answered in the competent legal authority, which I have repeatedly discussed and discussed in Egypt, until a while ago, there was talk of lifting the blockade on this side.

In response to the efforts of the respected heads of the executive and judiciary to end this illegal behavior, I thanked them for their follow-up and informed that we have been confined and deprived of our legal rights in a case and in accordance with an illegal order that is contrary to numerous constitutional principles, including the principle of legality of crimes and punishments.

I stressed that although I consider freedom to be my natural right, I would rather go out of confinement as we did in one day. The issue remained silent for a while until on the eve of Nowruz, I was informed of the decision of the security authorities to leave their forces from our home on February 20 this year. Insha Allah, we will soon see the end of the confinement of my dear friend and brother, engineer Mousavi, and their dear wife, Dr. guhanward.

Freedom is a gift from God, but for me, freedom means when the mass tyrannical attitudes thirsty for power and wealth are forever bound from this country and in practice we witness the sovereignty of the people over their destiny and the extent is literally in all matters of the nation's vote.

The withdrawal from the blockade coincides with a crisis that has plagued the country in all its dimensions and brought the country to the brink of bankruptcy and a devastating war. I believe that the root of an important part of this crisis cloud should be traced to the same project of de-republication of sovereignty in the presidential election of 1984. That year, The Guardian Council, the Corps and the mobilization to establish what they called the Millennium miracle violated the election process. At the same time, I warned openly and openly in an open letter about this deadly deviation, which was directed at the main center of power, but unfortunately it was not listened to, and in 2018, the scandal of such an approach fell to the ground so much that we witnessed the roar and protest of millions of people in restoring their right to vote.

That year I came out aware of the issues within the government, I spoke of the obstacles and problems and I considered standing against this corrupt and dangerous current in the line of jihad of fisbilullah. I was afraid of threats, accusations, misconduct, harassment, beating me in the street and destroying my house and my house by a group of thugs and endured uncontrolled confinement.

I was not and am not alien to exile, imprisonment and restraint, as in my youth, the prison and torture of SAVAK Pahlavi did not take me from the field and in middle age did not blind my seat of chancellorship and power, and in old age, insult, desecration, pressure and then prolonged confinement did not cause me to remain silent.

As in the past, I commit myself to not speaking out in defense of the rights of all people, regardless of their view or belief, and to defend their legitimate and legal rights and legitimate freedoms. I also testify to God that I consider it a Sharia and national duty to defend the rights of the people because I believe that Iran belongs to all Iranians.

I demand the unconditional release of political prisoners, especially women in prison, from any profession, which I will pursue today.

Mehdi Karroubi considers himself a servant of God, the son of Iran and a small soldier of the nation, indebted to the martyrs of the revolution and war, who for the rest of his life is committed to strive for the dignity and supremacy of Iran and the realization of the sovereignty of the people over their destiny, and in this direction he says what he considers the good and good of the country in accordance with the national interests in a clear language, although it is not to the liking of some.

In conclusion, I have a duty to thank and appreciate all those who have supported and loved the people who have been surrounded in different ways over the years./ Justice news
