Kayhan's attack on the Iranian Reform Front's statement

The Front for the Reforms recently issued a statement titled “The Only Way to Save the Country is Change and Returning to the People,” which, instead of addressing public concerns, referred to the illegitimate demands of a faction.

In the recent statement (often referred to as a “black paper”) of the Front for the Reforms, it is stated: “Today, the collective psyche of Iranians is wounded, and the shadow of despair and anxiety continues to weigh heavily on the daily lives of the people… Today, the consequences of war, alongside rampant inflation, production recession, the plummeting value of the national currency, and capital flight, have highlighted the risk of economic paralysis more than ever.”

This statement paints a bleak picture and propagates despair, focusing on social divides and indicating more divergence than convergence; the repetition of these assertions imposes artificial dissatisfaction on society and will propagate manufactured frustration as a widespread public sentiment.

Reiterating these assertions and maintaining such an approach aligns with the narrative of Israel and the United States regarding distancing between the government and the people. In other words, creating new divides could lead to internal upheaval and rebellion, which Israel and the U.S. consider the second phase of their hybrid war against Iran.

The statements and examples put forth in the recent declarations of the Front for the Reforms, which have been released en masse, strangely align with the mission of Israel and the desires of Western governments, to the extent that the text of these statements can be viewed as a “translation of Netanyahu’s remarks.”
