It is now reported that Snapp has also been acquitted in the case involving the use of fake SIM cards.

With respect to the allegations against Snapp, it appears that a decision not to prosecute has been issued regarding all accusations made by Tap30 about the claim of using fake SIM cards to collect information on driver users.

A year ago, the Competition Council, following a complaint by Tap30 against Snapp for allegedly using fake SIM cards and bribing Tap30 drivers, determined Snapp's practices to be anti-competitive and fined the company. This ruling was confirmed by the Appeals Board of the Competition Council in August of last year.

Now, a new ruling has been issued by the court/prosecutor's office, under which Snapp has been acquitted/not prosecuted on the charges against it. The mentioned court/prosecutor's office found the complaint registered against Snapp and issues such as unauthorized access, computer forgery (making falsifications), and disruption of public order and disturbance of public opinion to be unsubstantiated.

Before the issuance of this ruling by the competent criminal court, the sixth branch of the Special Cyber Crimes Prosecutor's Office was the authority that issued the decision not to prosecute Snapp for all the charges in the case. Following this ruling from the competent court, the case was referred for review to the criminal court.

It is worth mentioning that the ruling of the criminal court declaring Snapp's acquittal from the charges brought against it is final and cannot be appealed.
