As I have repeatedly stated and written before, a state of emergency and wartime conditions are desirable for the Islamic Republic.

“Pro internet” access, along with the intense eagerness and greed to activate it through the payment of exorbitant fees to intermediary companies affiliated with telecom operators under the direct supervision of the Cyber Defense and Emerging Threats Headquarters, has been — and continues to be — the best opportunity for all citizens’ information and data to be updated by the citizens themselves, particularly within:

1. The Information Technology Organization and e-Government
2. The Regulatory Authority for Communications and Radio Communications
3. The National Organization for Civil Registration and the country’s population databases
4. The Financial Intelligence Center (including the payment card used and the primary SIM card for monitoring anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing measures)

Especially important are the details and monitoring of the referring authority for access to this service (even through favoritism or inaccurate information, which ultimately does not matter), as well as the payment card used for these fees.

All other matters (except for necessary technical and intelligence exploitation) are secondary, media-oriented, and not seriously significant.

And what a valuable opportunity this has become for updating these extraordinarily important databases and distinguishing between citizens inside and outside the country — welcomed enthusiastically by a large segment of the population, while the rest are managed through another mechanism under the title of “supervised VPN sales.”
