 Extension-Political Group: Hasti Amiri, a political activist, went to the Evin Prosecutor's Office on April 26 to be indicted. Following his appearance, he was granted bail and, due to the time-consuming nature of his bail, he was arrested and transferred to the women's ward of Evin Prison.

According to the reports received, on March 6, 2025, Intelligence Ministry agents visited Ms. Amiri's home in Tehran and searched her home and confiscated her personal belongings, including her mobile phone. At this time, he was informed that a new case had been filed against him.

Ms. Amiri, who had previously appeared in front of Evin Prison to protest the issuance of death sentences, was summoned to appear at the Shahid Moghaddas Security Prosecutor's Office on Saturday, April 26, 2025, and was indicted. Despite the issuance of a bail of 1.5 billion tomans and due to the time-consuming bail process, she was transferred to the women's ward of Evin Prison.

 Hasti Amiri had previously been arrested on April 7, 2024, during protests against the serial poisoning of students, after referring to Branch 1 of the Evin Prosecutor's Office, and was transferred to prison to serve his previous sentence. He was released on August 5, 2024. At the time of his release, he was holding a picture of Pakhshan Azizi, his death row cellmate.

Previously, in 2022, Amiri was sentenced to one year in prison on charges of "propaganda against the state" for his civil activism in defense of the right to life and women's rights, and spent six months of that sentence in Evin Prison.
