Explanations of the President of the Supreme Court regarding the Tabari case: the appropriate verdict will be issued soon

Mortazavi-Moghadam: The subject of Akbar Tabari's case is bribery, and the issue of embezzlement was not and is not an accusation since the beginning of the case.

Tabari's other charge is money laundering and forgery; Masharaliyeh has made transactions to purify the received property, which has been sentenced. He also forged a power of attorney document in the name of his wife.

After the final verdict, the sentence was implemented and the convict served four years in prison. By presenting new documents, Tabari requested a retrial and claimed that the issue of forming a bribery network was not discussed in the case. Finally, after examining the case in the Supreme Court, while agreeing to his request and recommending the resumption of proceedings, the case in this section was referred to the court of appeals for re-examination. And after the investigation regarding the accusation of bribery, a verdict was issued and he was sentenced to pay a fine and return the funds for money laundering.
