"Please refer to my note in Abdi Media on this subject titled 'Historical Gaffe and Conflict of Interest in the Constitutional Amendment After 33 Years,' which I wrote some time ago."

The fact that the Leader is equal to other individuals in the country under Article 107 in relation to the law was applicable before the amendment of Article 57 of the Constitution in 1989, when the term "absolute guardianship of the authority" was added to this article.

The haste in the decisions of the Revision Council was such that they forgot to amend Article 107 alongside the amendment of Article 57.

In practice, since 1989, it is evident that the second Leader of the Islamic Republic has been verbally and in writing increasingly inclined to use the absolute guardianship of authority, especially in recent years, under the guise of directives that are superior to and precede the law.

Perhaps more importantly and worth contemplating is that the realm of politics and power, particularly the pillars of the system, has fully accepted this existential reality, and justifying and interpreting it currently leads nowhere.
