The move to revive expired resolutions is legally unfounded.
Letter from the Foreign Minister to Guterres on the illegality of reinstating terminated UN Security Council resolutions against Iran:
The move to revive expired resolutions is legally unfounded.
All restrictions related to the nuclear issue under Resolution 2231 will permanently end.
Iran will not recognize any attempt to extend, revive, or implement them after this date.
Such abuse undermines the credibility and neutrality of the United Nations and weakens the authority of the Security Council.
Any attempt to harm Iran will be met with appropriate responses.
