Jafari emphasized, "We believed that God had given us a mission to eliminate disbelief from that region."

He noted that after the coup against "Ali Hassan al-Bakr," Saddam had prepared himself.

On September 10, 1971, just ten days before the war, "Hassan Baqeri" from the Revolutionary Guard prepared a report indicating that Iraq was preparing for war.
