Earlier, Amir Raisan, with a bravery reminiscent of that seen in Professor Hojjat al-Islam val-Muslimeen Dr. Mohsen Borhani, engaged in a rare behavior among lawyers and contrary to the customary relationships between lawyers and judges in the judiciary, challenged the judiciary to a debate...

However, this esteemed and exceptionally brave lawyer was unable to respond to the simple questions from Abdi Media and may have deemed it unworthy of himself to answer, or perhaps he correctly anticipated that subsequent questions would raise further details.

The same questions were repeated after the interview with Ms. Mahdokht Damghanpour, but the result of my inquiries was met with insults and very superficial criticisms, sometimes rooted in professional biases from some associates and legal practitioners, with no attention or legal response to the entirely clear questions.

From the beginning, I criticized the statements of Mr. Raisan (strictly regarding the application of Article 477 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and solely concerning the process leading to the implementation of the death penalty, without any bias or endorsement of the actions and processes of the judiciary). Initially, I did not critique Ms. Damghanpour; however, it seems that she made a peculiar statement to Iran Watch, which clearly contradicted Mr. Amir Risan's previous claims, and now, with that interview, the esteemed lawyer has hidden behind Ms. Damghanpour's words.

Here, I reiterate clearly: my criticisms of the defense process for the late ghobadloo are in no way a defense or endorsement of the actions of the judiciary.
