From the beginning, I criticized the statements of Mr. Raisan (strictly regarding the application of Article 477 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and solely concerning the process leading to the implementation of the death penalty, without any bias or endorsement of the actions and processes of the judiciary). Initially, I did not critique Ms. Damghanpour; however, it seems that she made a peculiar statement to Iran Watch, which clearly contradicted Mr. Amir Risan's previous claims, and now, with that interview, the esteemed lawyer has hidden behind Ms. Damghanpour's words. Here, I reiterate clearly: my criticisms of the defense process for the late ghobadloo are in no way a defense or endorsement of the actions of the judiciary.
