The defendant in this case, who was a lawyer, was sentenced to two years of prohibition from working as a lawyer as a "subsequent punishment".

Last week, another news-making decision of Branch 1088 of Tehran Criminal Court 2 in a case related to hijab was overruled in the first branch of the Supreme Court.
