Meeting with Brzezinski

The meeting between Mr. Bazargan and Dr. Yazdi and some other like-minded people with Carter's security deputy Brzezinski was during the Algerian revolution anniversary ceremony.

One night, I was on the phone in the Imam's office in Qom when Mr. Mohammad Hashemi, then head of IRIB, called to ask the Imam whether the meeting between these gentlemen and Brzezinski was done with his advice or not.

I immediately wrote Mr. Hashemi's message on a piece of paper and took it to the imam's house and told him to tell the imam to answer this question.

Imam Marqum said: I was not informed and I am not aware of this meeting.

I immediately faxed this to Mr. Hashemi and he also ordered it to be broadcast on IRIB.

Footnote: Sheikh Ismail Ferdowsipour, is not alive, but Mohammad Hashemi is alive; I wish they would tell me how Fox existed that year?
