The leaders of the Moderation and Development Party said that the presence of the Basijis has worried the two Khordadis regarding the recent movements of the universities.

Mr. [Mohammed Hasan] Qadiri Abianeh came.  We discussed about writing a book about McFarlane's story.  He gave explanations about the quality of the beginning and end of transactions and negotiations.  He gave examples of his articles in the media that he wrote against blackmail.  

Mr. [Hamid] Tahaii, the new governor of Qom, came. He said that he met with the authorities and there is an understanding.  Discussions were held regarding water transfer projects from Dez, Astana Square, Haram to Haram, Salafchegan Special Area and Shahid Beheshti Hospital.

Iftar party leaders were my guests.  They explained their actions in the center, Gilan and Kermanshah and their future work plans and asked questions about the slogans, plans and solutions to the current problems and said that the presence of the Basijis has worried the two Khordadis regarding the recent movements of the universities.  Although the system has suffered because of the unjust verdict of the Hamedan judiciary [for the execution of Mr. Hashem Aghajari], but they also understood that the hopes that they placed on the students to pass two bills will not lead anywhere.

In Afghanistan, the American military base was attacked.  It is reported in the news that the Israeli officers have taken over the protection of [Hamid] Karzai, [the head of the interim government of Afghanistan].  American media propaganda against Saudi Arabia has increased.
