I went to the International Radio and Television Conference Hall for the Basij construction ceremony during the Basij week.  After listening to Khair Moghaddam and the report of Mr. [Syed Mohammad] Hejazi, [Commander of the Basij Resistance Force] and [Mahmoud] Salahi, [Commander of the Basij Construction Camp] and the hymns, I gave a speech about Basij's position, services, works, and current issues.  

In my office, Mr. [Feridon] Haqbein, our new ambassador in Bulgaria, came to say goodbye and consult.  He had useful information about Georgia and Brazil, where he served, and expressed his regret about the non-implementation of the plans that the constructive government had for Georgia, which could create a necessary position for Iran in the Caucasus.

In the evening Timsar [Abbas] Taghig, the commander of Nadaja [= army navy] came.  He explained the completion of the construction of high-speed vessels and missile launchers inside, as well as the construction of [Chinese anti-ship] C802 missiles, which are similar to the [French] Exose, as well as the situation of submarines, ships, and islands, and asked me to participate in the anniversary ceremony of Nadaja.  

In Afghanistan, the US military convoy was attacked in the southeast;  With casualties and in the United States, some media reported Saudi financial aid through an account related to [Haifa bint Faisal], the wife of [Bander bin Sultan], the Saudi ambassador to the United States, to two Al-Qaeda members who are accused of participating in the September 11 operations; although Saudi Arabia has denied it.  

The unrest that started a few days ago continues in Jordan.  In response to the attack on its military vessel off the coast of Gaza, Israel has prevented the work of Palestinian fishermen and expanded the occupation of the cities.
