  The foreign and anti-revolutionary media are trying to present yesterday's demonstrations as an example of the people's mobilization by the leadership regarding the issue of Aghajari's death sentence, but the leadership does not want to be recognized as a supporter of the verdict.  For this reason, radio and right-wing media try to downplay this aspect of the statements and slogans of the marchers.

In the meeting of the [expediency of the system] assembly, four paragraphs of the general policies of the housing sector were approved.  I did the office work until the evening and came home after breaking the fast.  

Last night, the Palestinian Mujahideen attacked the Israelis in [the city of] Hebron and killed a number of them, and after the Israeli army forces came to the scene to support them, they opened fire on the soldiers and as a result killed 12 people and injured around 30 people.  Several generals and officers are among the dead.  In Hebron, 450 Israelis live under the protection of the Israeli army, and Israel has carried out severe attacks on Palestinians in retaliation for this operation.

In Qom, a statement was published by Fazla Hozha, and they denied Mr. [Mehdi] Karroubi's claim about having a proxy from the authorities to condemn Aghajari's death sentence.  They quoted Mr. [Mohammed] Fadel Lankarani, [Nasser] Makarem [Shirazi], [Hossein] Nourihamdani, [Hossein] Vahid [Khorasani], [Mohammed Taghi] Behjat, [Sidmusi] Shabirizanjani and [Javad] Tabrizi saying that they did not represent anyone and their opinion is that they should be allowed to carry out the rest of the court proceedings.  Mr. Karroubi was depressed today in the session of [Determining Expediency of the Nizam] because of this and also because of the attacks on him during the Friday prayer.  

Hujin Tao, the new general secretary of the Communist Party of China, has said that new policies will be implemented in the country's administration.  In Nepal, 108 people have been killed in the clashes between Maoists and government soldiers.  The Czech government did not grant a visa to the president of White Russia to participate in the NATO summit.  Probably under the influence of America, which called him a terrorist.
