After the dawn prayer, I studied until the start of the public session. The Arab leaders' conference in Fez begins today, and they may want to recognize Israel in some way. Mr. Engineer Gonabadi [Minister of Housing and Urban Development] defended the actions of the Ministry of Housing in two closed sessions, and several representatives also spoke against him.

I consulted Mr. [Mohsen] Rezaei about this.

After the evening prayer, a powerful bomb exploded in front of the courthouse [on Khayyam Street]. It left about twenty martyrs and ninety injured. The counter-revolutionaries ruthlessly committed this crime in the crowded Park-e Shahr area. I took care of the unfinished work.
