In the afternoon, the representatives of Khuzestan came and gave their opinions about the reconstruction of the province. In the evening, Mr. [Mohammed Baqer] Mahdavi Kermani, the head of the family court, came. He suggested that they install themselves as imams as the head of the Supreme Court and the head of the Supreme Judicial Council. I was surprised by this thought, but I did not express surprise. He thinks he can solve all judicial problems.
Mr. Dr. [Mohammed Ali] Najafi came as a candidate for the Ministry of Education. He told his program and talked about the quality of discussion and negotiation with the existing lines in the parliament before the vote. The night of the meeting of the heads of forces was in my office. [Mr. Majid Ghasemi] the head of the central bank came to get permission for a foreign currency loan, which the prime minister has already decided to review and give an opinion on.
