I did the work until half past eight in the morning. Mr. Ghulam Ishaq Khan came for the second round of negotiations. The relevant commissions reported the agreements. Then the political, technical, economic, commercial and security agreements were signed in our presence. I have a cold and I take painkillers.

In the evening I went to Saadabad and from there we went to the airport with Mr. Ishaq Khan. On the way, I asked him many questions about Pakistan issues. We conducted an interview in the pavilion and were sent away with official ceremonies. Overall, they are satisfied and it was well organized. I accepted his invitation to visit Pakistan.

I returned to my office. Mr. Zanganeh [Minister of Energy] came. Reported the trip to Qatar for the water contract. Türkiye is also planning to bring a water pipe to the Arabian Islands. They say that America insisted that the Arabs accept, but it is unlikely that they will be able to compete economically with Iran. He also reported on the transfer of water from Zayandeh River to Yazd, which is still under study.

I attended the meeting of the government. I came to my office before the end of the meeting and worked until eight o'clock. At night I was a guest of Ayatollah Khamenei. We discussed the results of the Pakistanis' and Dekoyar's trip and the current issues and the issues of Qazvin and IRGC.
