[Mr. Seyed Homayoun Alizadeh], our new ambassador in Lebanon came. He asked for guidance on the ongoing issues of resistance in southern Lebanon and Palestine. [Mr. Ali Sarmadi Rad], our ambassador came to Uruguay. He said about more commercial and economic cooperation and the president's invitation to Iran. [Mr. Mohammad Beheshti Monfad], our ambassador came to Ethiopia. He told about the situation there after the independence of Eritrea and their request to sell oil with facilities and gave an explanation about Somalia. [Mr. Hassan Aminian], our ambassador to the United Arab Emirates [UAE] came. Regarding the cancellation of the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, who was supposed to come to Iran these days, because he could not get our agreement in advance regarding the previous announcement that "the purpose of the trip is to negotiate about the islands", he asked for an opinion on the quality of the meeting. I told him to say that we see this as an excuse and why was it necessary to say it before. No one will stop you from speaking, but we have firm answers that we will give when they are raised. [Mr. Mohammad Reza Nouri Shahroudi], our ambassador came to Libya. He told about the situation there and requested that the press broadcast Gaddafi's statements and that more delegations go to Libya. I agreed.

Dr. [Hasan] Habibi came. The current affairs of the country were discussed. Asr Salmani came for correction. Dr. Velayati came. Regarding the new conditions of Iraq and Palestine after the PLO and Israel agreement, the issues of the islands and the cancellation of Hamdan's trip to Iraq, the issue of Umrah and Hajj, and the deputy and deputy official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were discussed. Regarding the message of the Somali ambassador in Pakistan, I said that it should remain unanswered.
