Mr. [Mohammed Mohammadi] Ray Shahri, [special prosecutor for the clergy] came. I criticized his dealings with the Marashi brothers' family and asked him to end the matter. I explained about their good intentions and the harm of such interactions. Hajj and Umrah were discussed; I told him the policies. He requested for the design of the holy shrine of Hazrat Abdul Azim (pbuh).

Timsar [Reza] Saifullahi, [Commander of the Police Force] came with Timsar [Yousef Reza] Abol-Fathi, the new commander of Tehran Police. They gave explanations about the plans and needs and told the records and plans of the new commander. They had questions about the policy of dealing with major security, law enforcement and cultural issues.

Mr. [Ali Akbar] Masoudi [Khomeini, the founder of Hazrat Masoumeh (PBUH)] came from Qom. He brought the surplus currency that they had taken for the Shaykh Mofid Congress and asked for the cooperation of the ministers in order to strengthen the threshold of Qom and the plan around the shrine and the central square of Qom and the job of his son-in-law. He said that two million meters of Astana's land has been in the hands of the people or government agencies for a very small rent since the past, which should be considered to protect the interests of Astana.

Dr. [Hasan] Habibi came for the current affairs and plan and budget. Mr. Walid Jumblat [leader of the Progressive Socialist Party of Lebanon] came. Lebanon and Palestine were negotiated. He thanked Iran for its positions and assistance. Abu Marzouq, one of the leaders of Hamas, came with a group of other leaders of this movement. They thanked Iran for its assistance and positions towards Palestine, and especially for the positions that I have expressed in an interview with [Egyptian journalist] Hosnain Heikal, and I have considered the issue of Palestine to be the issue of the Islamic world and Iran. I encouraged them because of their Islamic positions and said that this is the best way to fight for the freedom of Palestine.

In the evening Mr. [Behrouz] Bushehri came and announced his agreement to manage Qeshm Azad region. He wanted the board of directors to be three people. Mr. Al-Vairi came and asked me to stress about Mr. Bushehri that he should be full-time. Mr. Mahluji also talked about the same issue and Bandar Abbas aluminum on the phone from Dubai.

In the evening, the government board had a meeting for the second five-year plan. At night, our guests were the housemates Fatima and Tayyaba and relatives. Tayyaba came to treat her eyes and the doctor said that in two or three months the cataracts will appear.
