At half past eight in the morning, we went to the parliament to introduce Mr. [Mortaza] Mohammad Khan. I spoke briefly about his qualifications and returned to my office. I had many references and letters from representatives. He was not seriously opposed and it was approved.

A group of Jamaran and Saadabad guards came. I thanked them for the extra efforts they made during the house repair and our stay at the Saad Abad guest house.

Mr. [Mustafa] Pourmohammadi and Mr. Hamid [Reza] Nakhizhan came. They gave a report of the economic works and their effects that they do with specific goals and complained about the rumors and oppositions, and especially the oppositions of the military which caused the opposition of the leadership as well. The talks did not end.

A customs employee came. It didn't matter. We had given ourselves time, with Fati's insistence. Supreme Council of Standards had a meeting. We had approvals based on the new law.

In the evening, I attended the meeting of the government board. Qazvin province and [Mr. Mohammad Reza Rahimi as] governor of Kurdistan was approved. The province of Qom went to the commission. I did the work until nine o'clock at night and came home. I packed the suitcase for tomorrow's trip.

Mr. [Aladdin] Boroujerdi from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that it was announced in the Turkish media that a group of Turks and Iranians were arrested in Turkey, who intended to transfer uranium to Iran. The names of the Iranians who took them are our intelligence officers; This accusation is baseless. I told them to summon their ambassador and introduce it as a conspiracy and protest.
