Our Indonesian guests went to Mashhad by plane today. I did office work until half past nine in the morning. it is raining Mr. [Ishaq] Jahangiri, the governor of Isfahan, came and gave his opinions about reforms in my administrations and vice-presidents.
Expediency Council had a meeting. There was a dispute between the Majlis and the Guardian Council regarding the plan to annul the decisions of the Administrative Court of Justice regarding the cases of temporary cultivation, and finally, instead of the resolution of the Majlis, we approved another solution - the establishment of committees to examine the cases, in case of a ruling by the Administrative Court of Justice. In the evening, at the meeting of the government board, we continued the review of the second five-year plan. The claims and demands of the cultural, judicial, reconstruction and cooperation sectors were examined.
Our guests returned from Mashhad. Their ladies had gone to the [Imam Khomeini] Relief Committee from the airport to buy more carpets, and it turned out that they bought about eighty pieces of carpets.
