Memoirs of Akbar Hashemi – October 6, 1987

I arrived at the parliament at half past six in the morning. The news of two missiles hitting Baghdad has been widely published, but the point of impact of the missiles is not known. Before noon, Mr. Tabesh, the governor of Kurdistan, came. In the afternoon, the representative of Malair came to consult for re-election. I told Dr. Rouhani to arrange a meeting to identify the point of the rocket hitting Baghdad to correct the shot. In the evening, I went to Majlis Dentistry to correct a worm-eaten tooth. He emptied it and we were supposed to fill it tomorrow.

I participated in the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution. The regulation of recruitment of elites and the constitution of Islamic Azad University were discussed. Some were worried about the recruitment of professors and government agencies to this university. We decided to prevent it by including a substance.
