After prayer and exercise, yesterday's backlog was done. I told [Mr. Abdul Hossein Wahaji] the Minister of Commerce to publish the price control notice for potatoes and onions. Negotiations were held with Mr. [Mohammed] Yazdi [Chief of the Judiciary] and [Abdullah] Nouri [Minister of the Interior] about the issues of Rafsanjan and the replacement of the Chief Justice.

The members of the Defense Commission were supposed to come; They did not come because they were not informed about the time. [Mr. Hossein Kamali] Minister of Labor and his deputy came. They spoke about the poor performance of the former minister and demanded reforms and new programs for technical education and job creation, and demanded the transfer of the War Refugee Foundation to the Ministry of Interior and the transfer of cooperatives and social security to the Ministry of Labor.

Mr. [Javad] Mansouri and [Seyd Jalal] Sadatian came. They talked about the weakening of relations with China and the slowness of the Chinese in technical and economic relations and the prospects of cooperation with Korea and Japan.

Mr. [Alireza] Moiri came. He said the possibility of his work in international relations. I told him to cooperate with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance in Fimabin issues with France. Mr. [Mohammed Javad] Larijani came. He made comments about foreign policy. Mr. [Sheikh Ahmed] Kaftaro, mufti of Syria, came. In meeting with him, we discussed about the unity of the Islamic world.

Office members came to get the schedule. Mr. [Hossein] Shamsaei, [Abdul Sattar] Halajian, [Nabiullah] Mohajeri and [Mohammed] Handoost have ruled. They got opinions about their work. In the evening, Mr. [Syed Mohammad] Mousavi came to the Khoinis. We negotiated about taking over the strategic research center. I decided to issue a verdict in his name. I did the work until nine o'clock at night and went home.
