With last night's rest, I felt good today. Office work was done until nine o'clock in the morning. Mr. [Hamid] Mirzadeh came. He gave the report of the trip to the recently liberated war zones and told about the reconstruction plans.

The Sudanese delegation came [headed by Colonel Suleiman Mohammad Suleiman, a member of the leadership council]. He brought the letter of the president of Sudan and acknowledged the rightness of Iran's position and requested to solve their problems. I promised support for oil and the establishment of audio and video broadcasting and weapons for the war against the rebels in South Sudan.

Mr. [Mohsen] Nurbakhsh, [Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance] and Mr. [Mohammed Hossein] Adli, [President of the Central Bank] came. They reported on their trip to America for the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank and expressed satisfaction with meeting with Western personalities to resolve problems and relations, as well as meeting with Iranians living in America.

Mr. [Mohammed] Qomi, representative of Varamin, came. He appealed to Varamin to save the radicals from being eliminated in the elections of the Assembly of Experts and also for water and metro. He criticized the positions of the extremists in a way. [Mr. Abdulazim Khazaei], the representative of Mahshahr, came. expressed his displeasure and appeal for Mahshahr's delay; I helped and promised more help. Mr. [Syed Hossein] Hosseini Shahroudi, the representative of Shahroud, came. While praising the government's economic policies, he spoke about the weakness of the Minister of Roads and Transport and some other executives and asked for the development of Shahroud.

In the evening, Dr. Velayati [Minister of Foreign Affairs] came. He reported his trip to New York and his many negotiations and meetings; He is very satisfied. He believes that there is a competition to admire relations with Iran. I participated in the meeting of the government board.
