I reached my office at half past seven. At nine o'clock in the morning, managers and officials of administrative reforms came. Mr. [Syed Mansour] Razavi, [Secretary General of Administrative and Employment Affairs Organization] reported and I had a detailed talk about administrative reforms.

[Executive Vice President] Mr. [Hamid] Mirzadeh came. He talked about the progress of the reconstruction work [of the war-torn areas] and asked for more credit. Mr. [Mohammed Ali] Rahmani, the head of the ideological-political organization of the police force, came. He had some tips about power.

The heads of the participating delegations came to the meeting of the chambers of commerce and industry of Islamic countries. Mr. [Ali Naqi] Khamshi and the Saudi president said something. I also talked about the huge economic leverage for Islamic goals.

In the evening, I attended the meeting of the government board. We approved four notes from the 1972 budget.
