I arrived at my office at eight in the morning. Mr. Demirel was supposed to call at eight-thirty, but he didn’t. They called at eleven, and I said to schedule another time; since the ship had not yet departed from Turkey, I didn’t want any discussion to take place until certainty was achieved. Last night, the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs called Dr. [Ali Akbar]

I reached my office at eight in the morning. Mr. Demirel was supposed to call at half past eight, but he did not answer. They called at eleven o'clock when I said it would be another time. Because the ship hasn't left Türkiye yet, I didn't want to talk to make sure. Last night, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye told Dr. [Ali Akbar] Velayati, [Minister of Foreign Affairs] on the phone.

IRGC information protection personnel came. Mr. [Ali] Saidi reported and I encouraged them; They had demands. The imams of Dehbid [= Safashehr] and Abadah came. They wanted to be the center of the department and had other demands.

Mr. [Abbasali] Vakili, the head of the headquarters [of dealing with the affairs] of Azadegan, came. He gave a work report and made requests to improve the work. The headquarters is supposed to be dissolved by next year.

Dr. [Hasan] Habibi, [first vice president] came. We negotiated about the budget policy and single rate of currency and other current issues.

In the evening Mr. [Mahmoud] Vaezi, [Deputy for Europe and America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs] came. He gave the report of the trip to Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, about the friendly messages and the meeting of Mr. [Safar Murad] Niazov and the cases of development of cooperation in the Caspian Sea and cooperation with the Russians and the reduction of their concerns about the program of exporting our revolution. He had a question about the quality of dealing with America and the new president of this country, and I told him to be tolerant and without convulsions.

The Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution had a meeting. We determined the necessary topics for the agenda and the president of Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences was approved.
