I went to Tehran University to offer Friday prayers and returned home at around two in the afternoon. Mr. [Mohsen] Rafiq Doost informed that today in Bakhtran, in a meeting by some of the Guardsmen, [Mohsen Rezaei] protested and insulted the [Guards Corps] commander. Mr. [Sadiq] Khalkhali also told the same news on the phone, from Pasdari's word, and said that they want to protest in tomorrow's program as well. Two or three nights ago, these guards told me that I gave them advice. They object to the dismissal of Mr. Abdul Wahab from the commander of the 10th IRGC region and claim that he is acting in line.
Mr. [Sayed Abbas] Salari, the charge d'affaires of Iran in Argentina, came and was upset that the law forbade the continuation of the embassy after a period of four years. He suggested that the parliament amend this law to make better use of the experience of ambassadors. He also criticized the independent performance of cultural officers of the Ministry of [Islamic] Guidance abroad.
