Dr. [Hasan] Habibi came and announced that there was a disagreement in the assembly of militant clerics. Mr. [Mahdi] Karroubi and a group have tended towards moderation, and Mr. [Syed Mohammad Mousavi] the Khoinis and another group have tended to extreme positions; He expressed his satisfaction with the result of last night's meeting.

Mr. [Ali] Younisi, the prosecutor of Tehran, came and gave a work report and spoke about the speed of action in the season of conflicts and the elimination of unnecessary work, including the elimination of permission for surgery to prevent pregnancy, as well as helping the [Tehran] municipality and implementing decisions, and asked for the work of the branches. He criticized Mr. [Mohammed] Yazdi, [head of the judiciary] and expected that his younger friends would be used.

Mr. [Gholam Ali] Naimi, Imam of Friday Bandar Abbas, came and criticized [Mr. Ahmad Khorram], the governor of Hormozgan. He praised and supported my statements in the Friday prayer and asked for help to complete the mosque and affairs of the province as well as the city of Damghan, where he was previously.

Our new ambassador in Argentina came to say goodbye and consult. Mr. [Mohammed Mohammadi] Ray Shahri [representative of the religious guardian and supervisor of Iranian pilgrims] and his colleagues came in the mission.
