At first, when I wanted to call Imam's office to know the time of surgery, it was not possible. I went to the public meeting. Before the meeting, I told the representatives my opinion regarding the approval of the merger of the Ministries of Defense and the IRGC. I opened the meeting and handed it over to Mr. [Mahdi] Karroubi [Vice Speaker of the Parliament].

I moved towards the Imam's house. I arrived at the hospital near Beit at 8:25. Mr. Khamenei had arrived before me. Imam was unconscious. They were on the operating bed. We watched the action from CCTV. It took more than two hours. During the surgery, the news of the doctors' satisfaction came.

Imam's family was also there. Their patience was more than mine. Peace reigned over them. Mr. Mousavi Ardabili also came. Imam was moved to another room. We thanked the doctors, especially Dr. [Iraj] Fazel. We had a meeting with the heads of the three branches, Ahmad Agha, Dr. Arefi, Dr. Fazel, Dr. Kalanter Motamed and Tabatabai. It was decided to announce the surgery and let the doctors explain. I came home They also understood something from the gathering of doctors and us in Imam's house.

I went to the parliament. I did my office work. In the evening, the [Constitutional] Revision Council had a meeting. The name of the Islamic Council was approved instead of the National Council, and the debate on the number of representatives remained unfinished. Ayatollah Khamenei announced that the noon meeting with a group of Shura members was successful and there was a consensus on the quality of focus in the executive branch.

It was decided to announce a meeting tomorrow as a thank you for removing the danger from Imam. I worked in my office until nine o'clock at night and came home.
